About this site

A trader writing for other traders

This site isn't run by an institution or a team. It's just one person — me. For the past two decades, I have been running three things simultaneously on my own accounts:

  1. Sports betting (major world leagues and big cup competitions)
  2. Stock trend trading
  3. Index futures (occasionally, as a volatility hedge)

On the surface they look different, but they are really the same problem: finding a repeatable edge in noisy data.

Why this site exists

Every year I watch the same cycle: someone excited enters the market, loses half their account in months, gives up a few months later — and a new person enters. The problem has never been "this market can't be beat". The problem is that most people get the first step wrong.

So this site has no tip service, no ads. Only slow essays from my own notes, interactive math tools, and links to the stations I use daily:

  • djyydata — football betting data and strategy backtests
  • djyyhub — information hub for A-share trend traders
  • djyylive — live football data

How to reach me

This page will eventually hold an email, a Twitter/X, and an RSS. Not yet — I want to put content out first.
